Hard Boat diving

Plymouth is famous for its wrecks and reefs off the south coast of the UK. The dive centre is located minutes from the pontoon, where you can board the boat and in a snap of your fingers be at one of the amazing reefs or wrecks that Plymouth has to offer. The history underwater dates back to 1700’s, while the sea off Plymouth boasts beautiful drop off walls, is abundant in marine life and is famous for its incredible visibility.

Diving will take place each day from Seeker which is a 38ft Lochin used exclusively as a charter boat for diving parties. Her experienced skipper is well known for getting us on the exact location for each dive, enabling divers to get the best dive each time they enter the water. The boat is laid out to give the maximum unrestricted space for divers and their equipment with a large open deck and diver lift.

This is an ideal dive trip for Advanced Open Water divers and above.

The package price includes:

• 2 days diving (2 dives per day) from Seeker or Panther (28th & 29th April)
• Accommodation at Mount Batten Watersports Centre, 20m from the pontoon and dive centre (overnight on the 27th & 28th April)
• Cooked or continental breakfast, hot drinks and light lunch on-board
• Free on-site parking
• Four single cylinder air fills
• Organisation of the trip, including the provision of a Trip Leader by New Horizons Dive Society.

You will enjoy 2 days hard boat diving with 2 dives per day. You will require 2 tanks for the trip. A dive computer and SMB & reel are mandatory for each diver. Torches are highly receommended, particularly for exploring wrecks.

Equipment can be hired from New Horizons.

To book your place on this trip, simply contact us to confirm availability before completing a UK Trip booking form and UK Trip medical questionnaire, returning the completed forms with a non-refundable deposit of £75 per diver, made payable to New Horizons.

We will provide you with confirmation of your place on the trip once we’ve received the forms and receipt of payment. The balance will be due before the 24th February 2018. Transport is to be arranged privately – New Horizons can help with car sharing, so please let us know if you can offer anyone a lift.

Travel insurance is recommended for all UK and overseas trips and can be offered through New Horizons Dive Centre at a discounted price.
