Suunto Computer Battery Changes
We are able to change the batteries and undertake pressure testing on site for all Suunto dive computers. Through the use of specialised tools and anti-static matting, our professional standards ensure you’ll be confident your computer functions as it should on your next dive.
In all cases, not only is the battery changed, the battery compartment o-ring is changed to ensure the integrity of the water-tight seal is maintained. In some cases the battery compartment cover is changed too.
Following a waterproof test conducted under pressure, all computers are sent on a ‘test dive’ to 31 metres (approx.) in our pressure chamber to confirm all functions are in perfect working order.
We even make sure the time and date is set correctly too.
Our normal turn around is one week but if you require shorter time-scales then please ask. It is not unknown for customers to call in en-route to the airport and we have sometimes been able to help, but this cannot be guaranteed and more time may be needed for some computer models.
