What Will I Do?

Safety Briefing

As part of the PADI Bubblemakers session, you’ll complete a short classroom based session where you’ll go through some of the basic safety guidelines and skills you’ll be able to try in the pool.

The theory side is designed to be short and sweet, focusing on the good bits of scuba diving.

Equipment Orientation

Before you leave for the pool, you’ll complete an equipment orientation session with your instructor.  You’ll get to see how it all goes together and how it works. You’ll be able to try it for size before we take it all to the pool for you.

Pool Session

This is what you’ve been waiting for – your chance to try scuba diving! You’ll be helped into your equipment before your instructor helps you take your first, exhilarating breaths underwater. You’ll get comfortable swimming with scuba equipment on in the shallows. As your confidence grows, you’ll be able to head into deeper water (maximum 2 metres) and even try a few scuba diving skills.

The emphasis is on fun, so you’ll get chance to complete a few games while you’re under water too!
