Our annual charity quiz night has finally arrived! With questions set by quiz-master Phil, expect fun and merriment in what promsies to be another light hearted and entertaining evening in the company of your favourite buddies

Entry fees welcomed; all donated to chairty (RNLI). Minimum suggested fee is £1, but maximum depends on your generosity!
Prizes will be awarded for highest scoring team (and lowest, so you all know what that means!).
As usual, we’ll have news & updates for you all with the latest information for 2020 and beyond!
Seating is limited so get there early to bag a seat and a pint with your favourite buddies!

April's Dive Social - Fiji conservation - 5th April 2019 Once again we will be joined by one of our own team members! On Friday the 5th April, our own Divemaster, Ruth, will be informing us of the conservation work she did on her travels to Fiji. Think of Pacific Islands like Fiji and you think of clear blue water, beautiful corals and abundant marine life. Well someone needs to make sure it stays like that! Way back in 2016 that person was Ruth, our own divemaster (back then a Rescue Diver). Jon is currently undergoing training to become a PADI DiveMaster with us at New Horizons Dive Centre, having joined the program through Deptherapy. To keep things simple, we're only asking for confirmation of meal requests ahead of the date so we can let the catering team know how much to bring in! Seeing as it will be getting cold outside and a little dark in the evenings, we've got something to help spread some winter cheer - a Dry Dive! We will heading over to the Hyperbaric Chamber on the Wirral to learn about what they do when they're not treating divers, as well as how they look after those suffering decompression illness. We will then have the chance of going on a 'dry dive' to 40 metres - bring your log books and dive computers - it will count as a dive! Dive Social - August - 09/08/2017 It's that time of year again! It's Dive Social Barbecue time! Once again NHDC will be heading to Capernwray for the annual NHDC Barbecue on the 9th August. Entrance will be the usual £12 with food costing £14. Non-divers can get in for free! We will be issuing entrance and meal tokens, so please let us know if you'd like to join us. Gates open at 10:00, closing again at 21:00, with food served from 19:30, so there will be plenty of time to dive and socialise with your favourite group of buddies!
