April’s Dive Social – Fiji conservation – 5th April 2019
Once again we will be joined by one of our own team members! On Friday the 5th April, our own Divemaster, Ruth, will be informing us of the conservation work she did on her travels to Fiji.
Think of Pacific Islands like Fiji and you think of clear blue water, beautiful corals and abundant marine life. Well someone needs to make sure it stays like that!
Way back in 2016 that person was Ruth, our own divemaster (back then a Rescue Diver). Ruth volunteered for a conservation program which saw her travel to Fiji, complete her Divemaster course, and observe and record all sorts of statistics.
Join us to find out what it’s all for and why it all matters!
This entertaining insight into marine conservation will be preceded by the usual updates & news from NHDC.
Seating is limited so get there early to bag a seat and a pint with your favourite buddies!
If you have any questions or require further information, please telephone on 0161 223 5102 or call in to the dive centre.
