Our focus is on helping you achieve your ambition – having an action packed, fun-filled party with a difference!
Your professional instructor will conduct a short briefing to ensure you have a safe, fun experience and answer any questions before the fun bits start.
You’ll then be helped into your scuba equipment followed by shallow water practice. Very soon you’ll feel the exhilaration of breathing and swimming underwater and your confidence will increase.
Your instructor will introduce some fun underwater games to make this adventure complete. Older participants (10 years old and above) may receive further instruction and be allowed into the deep end of the pool to practice a few optional extra skills and really see what weightlessness in water can feel like.
Price
Standard Party: £35 per person, minimum of 4 participants.
Elite Option: We’ll come to you! For and additional £10 per person we’ll complete the party at your own facilities.
Pre-requisites
Min Age: 8 years old
Medically Fit: All participants need to complete a PADI Bubblemaker Statement (8 & 9 year olds) or a NHDC Try Dive Medical Statement (10 years and above) prior to participation.
Ability: You will need to be comfortable in water. No previous experience required.

Equipment Orientation
Before the fun bits start, you’ll meet with your instructor for a short equipment orientation session and briefing. You’ll try it out for fit and comfort, and learn about how it works. You’ll then be helped into your equipment ready for the real action.
Skills Practice
While you’re at the shallow end, you’ll be introduced to the thrill of taking your first breaths underwater before getting comfortable swimming underwater.
Very soon you will feel the exhilaration of breathing and swimming underwater and your confidence will increase. Your instructor will then introduce some fun underwater games to make this adventure complete.
Older children (10 years old and above) may receive some further instruction and then be allowed into the deep end of the pool to really feel what weightlessness underwater is like.
We’ll provide everything you need. We pride ourselves on ensuring there are no hidden costs.
You’ll be able to use our Scuba Diving equipment including breathing apparatus (regulators), cylinders, fins, mask, snorkel and wetsuit. If you already have some of your own equipment there’s no problem using that instead – we want you to be comfortable while you’re with us – but there’s no obligation to have your own equipment while you play.
Each pool session lasts approximately 2 hours (with up to 60 minutes ‘in water’) and take place on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon at Macclesfield or Congleton Leisure Centres.
New Horizons aims to be flexible with arranging pool parties to suit your schedule so they are arranged on a bespoke scheduling basis. We can arrange a party to be held anytime we’re in the pool, subject to availability. Currently available dates coincide with our Pleasure Diving Pool Sessions.
On all of our Pool Party options you will receive…
- Coaching and on-going support from an experienced, passionate and professional PADI Instructor
- Equipment Orientation
- 1 hour (minimum) Skills Development (confined water)
- FREE rental of all required equipment (including, but not limited to: cylinders & air fills, fins, mask, snorkel, wetsuit)

Elite Option
All of the above, but at your own venue. All elements can be completed at a location of your choice.
Pool Parties
Our pool parties can be arranged to suit your schedule, as long as we have a pool available! Preceded by a short equipment orienation and briefing session, the focus is on ensuring everyone has a fun, yet safe, time with us.
Elite Option
If you have access to your own facilities, we can come to you! We will work with you to make a truly tailor-made party schedule. All orientation and briefing sessions will be conducted at a pool of your choosing, before getting on with the fun bits in your pool.
Payment Plans
A single 50% deposit will allow us to reserve your place in the pool and the required equipment.
Further instalment payments can be made with the final balance paid before the pool party. Talk to us about instalment payment options.
Let us know you want to join us! Simply send us a Course Booking Form and completed liability releases (PADI Bubblemaker Statement [8 & 9 year olds] or a NHDC Try Dive Medical Statement [10 years and above] ) prior to participation. Once we’ve received your deposit we’ll reserve your places in the pool!
If anyone is able to answer ‘yes’ to the Medical questions on the liability forms, we will need a GP to countersign this Medical Statement before they join us.
