PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

The Course

The PADI Specialty Instructor Training Courses will teach you how to organise, promote and conduct PADI Specialty Diver courses. These courses emphasise the importance of Specialty Diver Training within the PADI system of diver education. Following the IDC five Specialty Instructor Training courses will be taught as part of a Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparatory programme. By completing these courses Instructor Candidates need only to have 10 logged open water dives in the specialty area, rather than the 20 required when applying directly to PADI. The need to have certified 25 divers is also eliminated before teaching individual specialities though is still a requirement to become a certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

Course Outline

Specialty Instructor Training course attendance is highly recommended. These courses provide valuable hands-on training, technique demonstrations, course marketing information, current PADI Standards information and, when applicable, instructor-level open water training. You will learn how to teach and conduct 5 Specialty courses during the three days. This training will also give you further practise giving presentations and you will gain in confidence before your IE.
