PADI Wreck Diver
The PADI Wreck Diver specialty introduces you to the techniques of wreck diving, including limited wreck penetration. Wreck diving, especially in UK waters, has always fascinated divers and by completing this course you will be able to plan and execute enjoyable wreck dives. You will learn how to navigate around a wreck, spot potential hazards and explore inside wrecks using line laying techniques.
This certification will allow you to get more from your wreck diving and counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating.
After some self study using the PADI Wreck diver manual you will complete four dives over a weekend with your PADI instructor to gain your PADI Wreck Diver certification. During these dives you will navigate and map a wreck whilst surveying for potential hazards and entry points. You will also practice line deployment and retrieval before planning and executing an actual penetration dive.
