PADI Enriched Air Nitrox
Diving with Enriched Air (Nitrox) allows you to extend your no-decompression limits and have shorter surface intervals. This is a great benefit for all dives and especially if you are planning a liveaboard dive trip. On the PADI Enriched Air specialty you will learn how to plan and execute EAN dives (22-40% oxygen) using dive computers. This certification will allow you to dive with Enriched Air on your next holiday and counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating.
The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) specialty course consists of knowledge development and practical exercises followed by two OPTIONAL open water dives. Initially you complete some self study using the PADI Enriched Air manual and DVD. You then attend a classroom session with a PADI instructor, who will review your learning and carry out some practical exercises with you before completing a short quiz.
You may complete two optional open water dives using Enriched Air. This enables you to plan, conduct and experience Enriched Air dives, including analysing your gas and completing your logbook at the end.
These optional dives will cost an additional £70 including equipment hire and Enriched Air fills.
